Success Story: Tina Ellison

Do you ever stop in life right where you are at and take a look back and wonder how you got to the place where you now sit.  You look back and see that original intentions, and dreams unfolded quite differently than you ever imagined!  That is where I am at today as I think about my experience working with Tony and his DreamBodies program!

I started out this journey as a girl that really just wanted her body back to the way it was before she had kids.  I spent 15 years trying anything and everything, I was always on a diet, I ran miles and miles for years.I just couldn't find the answer to get me there.  I guess I never really cared about a Dream Body, but what lead me to Tony were girls that were doing figure competitions.  Something about watching the girls go through the contest prep and reach that stage brought out the little girl dreams inside me.  I was a girlie, girl growing up, I loved Barbie's, glitter, sparkle, dress up, girlfriends, and the stage!  Deep down I really wanted to be a part of the figure girl experience and maybe one-day walk on that stage.  I really wanted it, but deep down I didn't really think that was possible.  I remember that first conversation with Tony when he said, if you do everything I say, you won't just do a figure competition, I promise you will have a body that belongs in magazines.  Funny thing is when Tony says something, he means it, and you learn to believe him as crazy as it sounds.  Just look at that before picture and then the after.  Who would have thought, not me!

Well I did my first figure competition, and then another, and I have to say, my physique definitely belongs in magazines!! But throughout this process working with Tony I realized it's not about a body, it's never been about a body!  Something had been missing in my life for many years, not just that little girl inside me, but me, I was lost.  Tony helped me not only find that little girl again, but also, that little girl all grown up!  It's been a battle, this last year to find her. I've been at war with my body, my mind, my heart, and my soul.  My time at the gym has never been about a workout, it's about pushing myself beyond my limits physically, mentally, and spiritually.  My diet is no longer about feeding my emotions with food, but about feeding my body what it needs to help me achieve a strong body and mind. 

And right now as I write this I think I am there, I think I know who Tina is, and this next competition, is going to bring it all together.  This next competition I want to walk out on that stage with all of this new found confidence and show that I have won the battle I've had going on inside me, to find me.  I'm going to have my glitter, my sparkle, my dress up, my stage, and my girlfriends.  And most of all, I hope by doing this competition, with my fellow DreamBodies Diva's that I can show Tony that he is so much more than a trainer, he gives us girls back their dreams!!
